  • Descriptive Overview
    Self-contained, household scale toilet system. Frontend (pedestal toilet, adaptable to squat plate) is situated above the feces collection area. In the backend, urine, feces, and toilet paper are dried. Shredded trash can also be added to the dried material and it is all combusted in a small ~600W fire.

  • Frontend Description
    Either a squat or pedestal user interface is acceptable, but the system requires non-water flush design. Solids, liquids, and trash are combined in a grinder and fed to a hopper. Combined solid mass is metered onto a cyclic drying bed before further processing.
